Cargo Agent

PAL Airlines  is seeking a part-time Cargo Agent to join our St. John's, NL team. 
 
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accepting and handling cargo
• Screening, scanning & sorting cargo. 
• Warehouse duties
• Loading/Unloading aircraft in all weather conditions.
• Operate Forklift 
• Provide internal and external customer support 
• Perform general office duties as required.
• General accounting and completion of daily sales reports.
• Other Duties assigned.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service and/or warehouse in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills as this position requires on the spot decision making. 
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.
• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting. 
• Persons with airline ground/cargo operations experience as well as RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) will be given preference.
