Manager, Financial Reporting & Techinical Accounting (hybrid)

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting leads the organization’s financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting functions, ensuringthe integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial statements under IFRS. This role oversees regulatory reporting, financial planning activities, and expense management, while serving as the primary liaison for external audits and a trusted advisor across the organization. The Manager provides leadership to the team, drives continuous improvement, and supports strategic financial initiatives, reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting & Enterprise Expenses.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsin accordance withIFRS.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, including variance analysis against plans and oversight of internal controls.

• Manage regulatory reporting requirements and coordinate responses to regulatory changes in partnership with Risk and Compliance.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and support audit processes and deliverables.

• Lead technical accounting activities, including research, policy development, and implementation of new IFRS standards.

• Oversee financial planning processes, including multi-year plans, annual operating plans, forecasts, and budgets.

• Manage shared services accounting and cost allocation methodologies to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Providefinancial guidance and support to business units and act as a key cross-functional partner.

• Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior leadership, Board Committees, and the Audit Committee

• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving process improvements and contributing to Finance’s strategicobjectives.
