Competitive Wage: $18.20 per hour + $3.00 per hour Night Premium

Work Schedule:  Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am

Training Schedule First 2 Weeks:  Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Contract Position:  6 months

The Receiving Associate 

The Receiving Associate is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and safe receipt and put-away of inventory within the Well.ca Distribution Centre. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity while supporting cross-functional operations with Receiving, Production, and Inventory Control teams. Team members in this role will be cross-trained across functions to support overall operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Perform accurate put-away by verifying product quantities, condition, and correct location placement
  • Identify and report discrepancies including damages, shortages, and mis-ships in a timely manner
  • Ensure all products meet quality and expiry guidelines, flagging any issues immediately
  • Collaborate with Production and Inventory Control teams to support product flow and resolve inventory issues
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards aligned with departmental KPIs
  • Support other warehouse functions through cross-training (including picking, packing, sorting, shipping, and inventory tasks) as needed to maintain operational flow
  • Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, pump trucks, or similar machinery)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Other duties as required

 Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment (Receiving, Production, or Inventory Control)
  • Hands-on experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, pump trucks, or similar machinery)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Working Environment

This position is in a w arehouse environment and requires extended periods of walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
