Forklift Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Airdrie, AB.

This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responding to forklift calls
• Unloading and loading product from trucks
• Moving racks and bins as needed
• Compiling required documentation
• Safely and efficiently moving and lifting heavy material loads using forklift and/or pallet jack
• Performing routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment
• Inspecting and performing minor maintenance on equipment daily (i.e. adding hydraulic fluid if necessary) 
• Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Experience and Skills:

• Valid forklift certification – Counterbalance propane/electric sit-down
• Previous experience lifting and moving heavy materials using a forklift within a warehouse environment
• Experience moving odd/over-sized materials would be an asset
• Experience using a skid steer would be an asset
