Hourly Rate:

Surveillant / Proctor : $29.64 ou/or $35.57 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Requirements: Completed Honours Bachelor in Food and Nutrition Sciences or related field *.Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written. Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.

* If the degree is in an equivalent field, the candidate must clearly explain in their résumé how their academic background connects to Food and Nutrition Sciences. 

Nature of the work:  Proctor one or more examinations and, when required, perform related duties, including but not limited to bringing the exams to the examination room, distributing the exams to students and collecting them at the end of the session, placing the exam copies in order, coordinating other proctors, and delivering the completed exams to the designated location.

Delivery method: In person - Campus Lees. Must be available Fridays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm for mid-term exam. Final exam date, time and location to be provided at a later date.

Additional Information and/or Comments:

Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.The supervisor will provide detailed information regarding the schedule and workload.
