Job Description
Teledyne Digital Imaging is a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc., a U.S. publicly listed enterprise, and specializes in the manufacture, design, research and development of high-performance CMOS and CCD image sensors and modular expandable cameras. Teledyne Digital Imaging's products are used worldwide in machine vision, document scanning, image capture, surveillance, process monitoring, manufacturing inspection, medical imaging, and multimedia.
As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a Design Specialist- Test ( Senior) in Waterloo.
The Design Specialist – Test is responsible for the design, performance, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of both hardware and software test systems used to evaluate product and component performance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality and manufacturability by developing robust test coverage, analyzing performance trends, and supporting the transition of new products from engineering into production.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, manufacturing, and technical support—the Design Specialist – Test integrates multiple tools, processes, and technologies to improve test effectiveness, reliability, and scalability.

Salary Range:
$83,600.00-$111,500.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
