Job Description:

Then join us as aSenior Personal Banker– Investinganddemonstrateyour subject matterexpertiseinprovidingsound financial planning advice to promote customer loyalty and investment returns.

In this role, you will: 

  • Create a consistent and exceptional customer experience in the branch, with specialty and predominant focus in investment advice and experiences

  • Requires deep knowledge andexpertiseof investment products; with in-depth knowledge of RealEstateSecuredLending, day-to-day banking, and all other TD products and services

  • Ask thoughtful questions to uncover and understand Customer needs, owning solutions that align to mandate and bringing in an expert for needs outside of capability 

  • Improve customer financial confidence through ongoing dialogue and by answering questions and providing advice

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the branch for both customers and colleaguesregardingall products, services, policies, and procedures of TD – especiallyregardingboth personal banking and business banking products/services or policies/procedures owned within the Branch

  • Maintain a professional and inviting space in allcommon areasof the branch, adhering to premises, marketing, and/or regulatory guidelines, paying attention to the office spaces in which the Senior Personal Banker – Investing occupies

  • Consistently engage in proactive customer outreach (via phone, email, etc.) to discuss portfolio updates and/oradditionalopportunities which best service the customer's needs; responsible for being present in the community foradditionalcustomer outreach 

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends to support advice recommendations

  • Ensure documentation that is prepared and completed isaccurate,properly reflectsthe customer/business' intentions, andretainedin accordance withbusiness policies and procedures

  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality,innovationand teamwork and ensuretimelycommunication of issues/ points of interest

  • Contribute to the achievement of businessobjectivesby proactively attracting,acquiringandretainingcustomers / advice opportunities and referrals, to drive growth for TD; this role is particularly responsible for achieving market share growth by bringing new business to TD 

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma and/or

  • Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred

  • 2+ years relevant experience

  • Investment Funds Canada (IFC) or equivalent

  • Certificate in Financial Services Advice (CFSA)
