POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, as well as forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning activities for Canadian Wealth Management (CWM) and the Team of Experts (TOE) support group. The role provides financial insight and analytical support to business partners and senior management, enabling informed decision-making and effective financial management.
Key Accountabilities
1. Financial Reporting and Performance Analysis
Support the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial reporting for the Team of Experts (TOE) support group and broader CWM Finance team. Monitor financial results against key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts, and other performance metrics.

2. Forecasting, Budgeting, and Strategic Planning
Participate in the development and execution of the annual budget, strategic planning, scenario analysis, and monthly forecasting processes.

3. Financial Modeling and Business Support
Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support business initiatives, strategic decision-making, and investment evaluations.

4. Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, presentations, and reporting to support management requests, strategic initiatives, and business decision-making.
5. Stakeholder Support and Relationship Management
Provide timely financial guidance and support to business partners and stakeholders across CWM.

6. Coaching and Team Support
Provide guidance, training, and support to Financial Analyst interns and co-op students to ensure successful completion of month-end reporting, forecasting, and analytical activities.
7. Other Responsibilities
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
