Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals as outlined on menus in accordance with applicable food service and safety regulations, while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. The role contributes to the broader mission and values of The Salvation Army, upholding standards of service that reflect its spiritual and social commitment to the community.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Incumbents may perform all, some, or similar range of duties as below.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The above responsibilities must be discharged in accordance with The Salvation Army’s Mission Statement, in a professional manner, upholding our code of conduct.
Completion of high school, plus specialized courses of up to six (6) months.
One to three years of prior related experience, with at least one year of institutional cooking experience

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $24.06 to $24.56 with a maximum of $25.06.Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
