Description

INSIDE ROCKET DOCTOR:

Rocket Doctor is a digital health platform and marketplace that breaks down obstacles limiting access to quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective healthcare. Our proprietary software equips doctors with the tools to run successful independent practices in virtual and hybrid in-person models of care, enabling them to provide tailored support to patients in any environment.

Leveraging large language models, AI/ML and wireless medical devices, Rocket Doctor is bridging the healthcare divide, connecting patients to equitable and accessible healthcare regardless of age, location, or financial status.

We believe that every person deserves equal access to quality healthcare and are looking for a team member who is motivated to learn, grow, and innovate, while making a meaningful difference.

Notable Highlights:

  • We joined the team atTreatment.comAI, now Rocket Doctor AI, becoming a publicly-traded company in the Spring of 2025 (AIDR.CN).
  • We have helped empower more than 400 practicing MD’s to care for close to 1 million patient visits across North America.
  • We have launched many new partnerships with communities, non-profits, private enterprise, hospitals / health systems, insurance companies and otherwise across the United States and Canada.

This is your opportunity to join our rapidly growing start-up early, so we can work together to bring high-quality care to millions of patients across the country.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Provincial Medical Lead (New Brunswick) plays a key leadership role within the Rocket Doctoral Clinical Leadership Team (CLT), working alongside the existing MD Leads to strengthen, expand, and optimize Rocket Doctor’s presence in the province, and Atlantic Canada as a whole.

This role focuses heavily on growing the New Brunswick provider community, establishing clinical operations within the province, and supporting physicians as they enter practice on the platform. The Provincial Medical Lead will support recruitment efforts, build physician engagement, help shape provincial workflows, and ensure a high-quality experience for both patients and providers in New Brunswick.

In addition to New Brunswick-focused leadership, the Provincial Medical Lead participates in broader MD Lead initiatives to support cross-provincial alignment and company-wide growth.

  • Support the Provider Success team in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining New Brunswick physicians.
  • Help build a strong provincial physician community and encourage ongoing clinical engagement.

Support Provincial Operations & Quality

  • Investigate and respond to patient, provider, or PCC-raised concerns related to New Brunswick care.
  • Review and refine clinical workflows specific to New Brunswick to improve efficiency, compliance, and physician ease of practice.

Strategic Specialty Leadership

  • Serve as a clinical leader supporting the growth of New Brunswick’s virtual care presence.
  • Liaise with New Brunswick health authorities, organizations, and partners as appropriate.
  • Provide input on New Brunswick-specific product needs, regulatory considerations, and physician experience improvements.

While the role is New Brunswick-focused, the Provincial Medical Lead also participates in the MD Leads team:

  • Attend and contribute to MD Roundtable meetings.
  • Support initial onboarding of new physicians across provinces as needed.
  • Partner with the product and operations teams on improvement initiatives.
  • Provide troubleshooting support on emerging physician issues across all provinces.
  • Assist with communications and strategic updates for physicians and Rocket Doctor staff.
  • Help coordinate physician meetings and engagement events across Canada.

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Maintain professionalism as outlined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the New Brunswick medical landscape and virtual care environment.
  • Maintain clear records of recommendations and decisions.
  • Knowledge of Rocket Doctor’s EMR, platform extensions, and applicable privacy regulations in Canada and the United States (HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) is considered an asset.
  • Handle all confidential company and patient information with discretion.

COMPENSATION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong familiarity with the New Brunswick healthcare system, workflows, and physician community.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving digital health environment.
  • Experience in medical leadership, administration, or business is an asset.
