About the Role:

The Sales Clerk/Keyholder for the Front Shop plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth daily operations of the retail environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• minimum age required for a Keyholder role is 18 years or older
• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a keyholder or supervisory role within a retail environment is an asset 
• Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising principles.
• Knowledge of loss prevention and security procedures.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of management.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously, addressing inquiries and providing product recommendations.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Open and close the store according to established procedures, ensuring security and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain organized and attractive merchandise displays, restocking shelves and managing inventory levels as needed.
• Support team members in daily store operations, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing the store for business hours.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges professionally, resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform keyholder duties such as securing the premises, reconciling lottery sales, managing alarm systems, and overseeing cash deposits.
• Assist in training new staff members and provide guidance to ensure adherence to company standards.
