Senior Manager, Supplier Relationship Management

What is the opportunity?

Join our Enterprise Supplier Management and Procurement Operations services team as a Senior Manager where you'll shape the future of how we work with our most critical business partners. This is a highly influential role where you'll drive operational excellence, unlock significant value, and build strategic partnerships that directly impact how our enterprise functions. You'll own a dynamic portfolio of Supplier relationships, from transportation logistics to office place consumables - giving you breadth, autonomy, and influence over enterprise-wide outcomes.

What will you do?

Shape Strategy and Drive Results

• Define and execute a Supplier relationship strategy that aligns with enterprise priorities and creates measurable competitive advantage
• Lead the tactical delivery of services across a portfolio of third-party providers, with flexibility to expand and evolve based on organizational needs
• Transform raw performance data into compelling business insights that influence leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement

Supplier Performance & Risk Management

• Design and oversee Supplier scorecards and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into program health and performance
• Build proactive risk controls that anticipate and prevent problems before they impact operations
• Lead Supplier risk governance activities aligned with enterprise policies and procedures
• Guide Suppliers through their entire lifecycle from strategic onboarding to performance optimization to thoughtful transitions acting as their trusted partner and accountability champion

Value & Spend Optimization

• Identify and capture cost optimization opportunities across the Supplier portfolio
• Negotiate commercially favorable terms while maintaining strong Supplier partnerships and value
• Demonstrate clear ROI on Supplier initiatives and program investments

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

• Build collaborative relationships with business partners across the enterprise, becoming their trusted advisor and go-to expert
• Translate complex Supplier performance data into clear, actionable solutions that enhance service delivery
• Champion program success by aligning stakeholders around shared enterprise priorities

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• 7+ years leading Supplier, Vendor, and Client relationships in dynamic environments
• Experience in transportation/parcel services and supply chain environments including logistics, customs compliance, and industry regulations
• Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and make sound decisions under ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) that help you influence across organizational levels
• Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of detail or strategic focus
• Strategic agility with the ability to determine when to accelerate progress, exercise patience, or pivot direction
• Proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving with a genuine appetite for learning and growth

Nice-to-have: 

• Prior experience leading and developing teams
• Background in contract negotiation and commercial law
• Consumer packaged goods industry experience
• Relevant credentials (University degree, professional certification - CSCP, CLTD, CTSC, CCLP, SCMP) or equivalent hands-on expertise
