What is the opportunity?

AsaMortgage SpecialistAssociate,you providedirect client andsalessupporttoMortgage Specialists,to enable themto focus on planning,adviceactivitiesand acquisition of newclients. You contributeto a differentiated client experienceby providing value added support and problem resolution. In this role, you collaborate with partners across the organization toidentifyand meet client needs and goalsand expand the network of your team.As a member of theMortgage SpecialistTeam, you provide leadership around the development of theAssociate roleand bring innovative ideas togrow market share.

What will you do?

• EnableMortgage Specialists,byassistingwith preparations for client meetings, and supporting the fulfilment ofmortgagesolutions and referrals toappropriate partners

• Provide consistentsupport to client requests, act as a point of contact for clientconcerns, and ensure accuracy of documentation with follow-ups, asrequired

• Leverage routines to ensure efficient andeffective completion ofclienttasks,identifyingareas for improvementto realizeefficiencies

• Maximize opportunities to effectivelyidentifyclient needs, make referrals,acquirenewmortgage clients, and track and review progressagainst the teams’ annualplan

• Exercise due diligence in following all policies and procedures, and identity/correct areas of operational risk

• SupportMortgage Specialists,with administrative activities, applying aproactiveapproach to achieving a superior client experience

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Previousexperience inHome Equity Financing 

• Demonstratedsuccess working in afast pacedenvironment with the ability to manage competing priorities,as well as multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

• IT literacyincluding the Microsoft Office suite of products, and digital knowledge

• Excellent communication skills including the abilityinteract with partners effectively in person, via email and on the phone

• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment,demonstratingstrong collaboration skills

• Bilingualism (English and French)required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.

Nice-to-have

• Track recordin building rapport andmaintainingclient relationships within the financial industry

• Experiencein proactive retail sales,leadand sales pipeline management
