Digital Content Support Specialist - Web and Email

As a digital content support specialist your job is to partner with various marketing team functions to support the strategy, ideation, and execution of content for the web and email marketing channels. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of one of our client's offices.

• Identify and gather content for web and email channels in alignment with the brands KPIs
• Ensure content is delivered on time and aligned to brand tone and personality.
• Support with conceptualization, design, writing, production, and delivery of written, graphic, and video content aligned to broader marketing objectives.
• Consulting against playbooks and existing strategies to align content to KPIs.
• Make edits and updates to webpages pre- and post-events, or as information and seasons change.
• Brief web analysts on page performance metrics and make optimizations as recommended.
• Support with content roadmap management (calendarization of content between web, email and social).
• Attend team and project meetings to ensure coordination of efforts and contribute to the success of team goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders inside and outside of the marketing team and liaise independently with people from all levels of seniority.

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style
• Ability to adapt writing style to various formats, such as blog posts, website copy, and email content
• General understanding of digital marketing concepts and strategies
• Strong research skills to gather information from diverse sources and create engaging, informative content
• Experience in Office 365 and Canva are a must.
• Bonus: Proficiency in SEO principles and best practices. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal or ContentStack or Cloudinary

Who you are:

• A keen interest with in digital marketing, web and email
• Bachelor’s and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field
• Experience in running digital advertising campaigns
• Experience in email marketing
• Experience leading complex and highly strategic digital engagements
• Strong proficiency in social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, WhatsApp and Snapchat, etc…), effective measurement frameworks for social programs
• Passionately committed to collaboration and is a dynamic team player
• Excellent cross-functional leadership, presentation, and communication skills
• Shows strong initiative as an entrepreneurial thinker taking independent actions and calculated risks
• Superior time management and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively manage all internal and external relationships, vendors and partners

Salary

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $65,000 - CAD $75,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
