Edson Packaging is seeking a Temporary Electrician. As a Red Seal-certified Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical wiring and related tasks to support the assembly, installation, and testing of automated packaging equipment.

Are You Excited About This Work?

• Read electrical drawings and schematics to complete wiring tasks.

• Install and wire electrical components, panels, motors, and other equipment.

• Perform AC/DC industrial wiring on automated packaging machines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during assembly and testing.

• Assist with equipment testing and commissioning.

• Follow quality, safety, and assembly standards at all times.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

• Support basic electrical maintenance as required.

• Assist with mechanical assembly when needed.

If This Sounds Like You, We Want to Connect!

• Valid 442A or 309A Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).

• Previous experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or machine building.

• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, including apprenticeship.

• Strong knowledge of AC/DC industrial wiring.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

• Experience with PLCs and industrial controls is an asset.

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
