Job Overview:

Job Summary**

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Truck Driver to transport materials and equipment to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery in compliance with all DOT regulations.

Job Responsibilities**

* Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.
* Transport construction materials, heavy equipment, and other goods to and from job sites, warehouses, and suppliers.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
* Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs, chains, and tarps to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
* Adhere to all federal, state, and local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service and weight limits.
* Maintain accurate logs, vehicle records, and delivery documentation.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any potential issues.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
* Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
* Represent Primoris Services Corporation professionally at all times.

Job Qualifications**

* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Minimum of [X years, e.g., 2 years] of verifiable experience operating Class A commercial motor vehicles.
* Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
* Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations, including hours of service.
* Experience with various types of trailers (e.g., flatbeds, lowboys, dump trailers) preferred.
* Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, excavators) is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, and travel as required.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
