The Role

We are currently recruiting for aB Pressure Rig Weldersto join our team for an upcoming outage.

Approximate start date: August 17

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality B Pressure welding in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures.
• Set up, operate, and maintain rig welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct welds that meet or exceed quality standards with minimal rework.
• Collaborate with other trades and crew members to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Identify hazards and comply with all company safety policies and legislative requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
   

Education/Skills/Experience

• ValidJourneyman Welderticket (Red Seal preferred).
• Valid B Pressure Certificate(current and in good standing).
• Must have valid safety tickets (H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, CSTS-2020
• Experience in industrial construction or live plant environments is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting, layout, and fitting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
