NAC is currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join our HR team at our Head Office location in Morriston, ON.
Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner plays a key role in supporting NAC’s people and operations by delivering comprehensive Human Resources services across the organization. Acting as a trusted partner to both employees and managers, this role provides full-cycle recruitment, employee relations support, policy and collective agreement interpretation, learning and development initiatives, and day-to-day HR advisory support.
Position Duties:
Deliver full-cycle HR support including:
Full-cycle recruitment (salaried focus)
Onboarding & workforce planning
Employee relations & workplace investigations
Policy & collective agreement interpretation
Compensation, benefits & HR advisory support
Learning & development initiative
Act as a trusted partner, providing practical solutions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Qualifications:
5+ years progressive HR experience
Post-secondary education in HR or related field
CHRP (or working toward) is an asset
Experience working with a unionized workforce
Experience in construction or multi-site environments preferred
Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR best practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a solutions-focused approach
