BuildYour Career in Sponsorship Sales
MLSE is building the inaugural class of ourGlobal Partnerships Sales Academy -a structureddevelopment program designed to develop the next generation of sponsorship sales professionals.
This24-month program is built for ambitious,curiousand highly motivated individuals who want to build a career generating new business for one of the most recognized sports and entertainment organizations in theworld.
As part of the Partnership Development team,you willlearn how corporate partnerships are sold - fromidentifyingnew business opportunities and building relationships with seniordecision-makersto developing integrated sponsorship solutions and supporting commercial negotiations.
Working across MLSE's portfolio of world-class sports teams,venuesand entertainment properties, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the sales process while receiving structured coaching, mentorship, and professional development from experienced partnership sales leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
Support the Partnership Development team in generating new sponsorship revenue across MLSE's portfolio.
Identify,researchand qualify prospective corporate partners across a wide range of industries.
Build and manageprospectlists using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases and market intelligence.
Conduct outbound prospecting through email, phone, networkingeventsand social selling to generate qualified meetings.
Assisting the Partnership Development Team withfacilitatingvarious partnership development discussions and helping to advance brands through the pipeline process.
Monitor industry trends, sponsorshipactivityand competitive landscapes toidentifynew revenue opportunities.
Sales Support
Assistwith preparing customized sponsorship proposals and client presentations.
Support the development of integrated partnership concepts aligned with prospective partnerobjectives.
Coordinate internal resourcesrequiredto develop commercial proposals.
Prepare briefing materials for client meetings and sales presentations.
Participate inprospectmeetings,presentationsand networking opportunities.
Track sales activity, pipelineprogressionand business development metrics.
Assistwith proposal follow-up and ongoing sales communications.
Commercial Strategy
Conduct category and competitive analysis toidentifywhitespace opportunities.
Research brands,industriesand emerging market trends to support prospecting strategies.
Assistin evaluating sponsorship assets andidentifyingnew commercial inventory.
Develop business cases and sales materials that communicate the value of MLSE partnerships.
Collaboratewith internal stakeholders throughout the partnership development process, both within the MLSE Global Partnerships team and more broadly across the company, creating advocates for new partnerships and unlocking new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications
University degree or college diploma in Business, Marketing, SportManagementora relatedfield.
Previousexperience inpartnerships,sales,partnership marketing, brand marketing, revenuestrategy
Experience presenting ideas or delivering presentations.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms is considered an asset.
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or prospecting tools is considered an asset.
Pleasenotethis is a 2-year contract at 32 hours/week.
