As a valuable member of the MLSE Culinary team, you willbe responsible forensuring that all pots, pans, trays,china, silverware, glassware,flatwareand small wares are clean,sanitizedand ready for presentation. You will alsoassistother kitchen staff by ensuring thatproductand supplies are available and that equipment is clean and ready for use.

• Operate and clean the conveyor dishwashing machines and pot washer in a safe,organizedand efficient manner.

• Scrape and thoroughly washpots, andreturn to designated area.

• Adhere to WHMIS and MSDS principles to safely handle cleaning supplies and other chemicals.

• Sweep and mopfloor, cleancountersand shelves, and collect and remove recycling and waste.

• Assistin the receiving and storage of incoming product and delivery of supplies to proper areas.

• Empty and clean recycling bins; storage, drop off and disposal of recycling bins.

• Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies including Health & Safety.

• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

• Perform other cleaning and kitchen duties asrequired.

• Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays asrequired.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to work well with other people on a small team.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previousexperience in a kitchen environment (or interest in learningmore)isan asset.
