Shipper Receiver - Laboratory

Miles has a great temporary opportunity for a Shipper/Receiver with our prestigious client based in Vancouver.

The six week Shipper/Receiver contract requires an individual with previous experience in a similar role as well as excellent organizational skills. As the role is in a laboratory environment, experience in this area is preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

• Processing inventory pick up requests online or via paper submission
• Delivering inventory and supplies to requested areas
• Monitoring inventory reorders
• Issuing release order requests
• Processing and replenishing inventory items as received
• Processing order requests with vendors
• Maintaining reports, records and invoices

Key competencies and qualifications:

• One year experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Stellar interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Exceptional organizational skills
