Secondment/Contract: Up to 2 years
We're seeking a strategic and technically strong Financial Analyst to join our Reporting & Analysis team. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply deep International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) expertise to complex accounting matters, external financial reporting, and accounting policy development. If you enjoy acting as an internal accounting advisor, providing IFRS advisory services to business partners, assessing the accounting implications of significant transactions and emerging business initiatives, developing accounting policies, and preparing technical accounting memoranda and position papers, we want to hear from you.
Reporting to the Director, Reporting & Analysis, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures, accounting policy development, technical accounting research, and audit support activities for the LCBO. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, providing guidance on the application of IFRS while supporting the organization's commitment to accurate, transparent, and high-quality financial reporting.
