Visual Presentation Technician

Purpose of the Role 

The incumbent will support the Visual Presentation Manager by providing day-to-day assistance to the department. They will work closely with the entire team to ensure the effective communication of information between the department and retail stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage departmental communications, including memos and visual documentation.
• Assist in preparing visual merchandising plans and organizing product samples.
• Maintain the organization of the mock store to support planograms and visual presentations.
• Participate in visual merchandising planning.
• Manage the department's shared inbox and communications with stores.
• Create and distribute signage lists.
• Process store requests and maintain the signage inventory.
• Coordinate signage orders for new store openings.
• Prepare folding, hanging, and window display installation guidelines, including photos and written instructions.
• Conduct testing and validations required during project development.
• Occasionally participate in new store openings and store visits.
• Visit stores on an occasional basis.

Requirements

• Diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Presentation, or a related field (an asset).
• 1–3 years of retail experience, ideally in visual merchandising or visual presentation.
• Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.(The individual will need to communicate with external suppliers, and stores outside of Quebec)
• Proficiency with the Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to travel occasionally for store visits and new store openings.
