SALARY RANGE:$65,600- $77,900 +

  • Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.

BONUS:Starting Bonus at Target $9,840

  • Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results,pursuant tothe Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

JOBDESCRIPTION

The Packaging QualityTechnicianis a front-line Quality professional responsible for ensuring that products leaving the brewery meet establishedQuality, Food Safety, Regulatory and Packaging standards.You will spendsignificant timeon the production floor working alongside Packaging teams, using data and technical knowledge toidentifyproblems, prevent defects and improve processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Packaging Quality & Food Safety

  • Perform routine in-process and finished-product testingin accordance withQuality programs.

  • Monitor critical packaging parameters such as fill volume, package integrity, seams, dissolved oxygen, carbonation, pasteurization, coding,labellingand appearance.

  • Verify packaging processes areoperatingwithin established specifications.

  • Support HACCP, foodsafetyand regulatory requirements.

  • Identify,documentand escalate quality deviations and non-conformances.

  • Support product holds,investigationsand product release activities.

  • Review Quality Control records and follow up on abnormalities.

Quality Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

  • Lead Quality and continuous improvement projects

  • Provide real-time Quality support to Packaging operations.

  • Investigate quality issues and helpdetermineroot cause.

  • Analyze Quality and production data toidentifytrends and recurring problems.

  • Participate in structured problem-solving activities such as 5-Why, Pareto and root-cause analysis.

  • Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Brewing toeliminatesources of variation.

  • Follow up on corrective actionsandverify their effectiveness.

  • Coach and train frontline employees

Laboratory & Data Management

  • Complete required laboratory and production-floor testing accurately and efficiently.

  • Enter andmaintainQuality data in LIMS and other systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor'sdegree in chemistry, food science,microbiologyor any science related field preferred

  • 2-3 years expirience in production/manufacturing enviornment

  • Relevant and applicable experience in Quality control in a food production environment

  • Basic understanding of HACCP and Food Safety principles.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving,and data interpretation skills.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Excel,Word,and Outlook.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to learn technical processes,equipment,and systems quickly.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
