Logistics Coordinator - Contract (new Graduates Welcomed)

SALARY:Starting Salary Opportunity: $32,000

LOCATION:Halifax Brewery/Bayer’s Lake DC, 5 days/week in office

CONTRACT DURATION: 6 months(possibility to extend)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor the execution of receiving,pickingand shipment processes according to defined standards and targets.

• Improve operations by finding opportunities and proposing solutions using management system tools and methodologies to ensure key performance indicators and targets are achieved or exceeded.

• Manage department resources and track via SAP and High Jump

• Managing outbound and inbound shipping at sites

• Checkexpecteddelivery schedule of raw materials to ensure materials arrive when scheduled and offloadedin a timely manner.

• Monitoring in transitreportandupdateBOL filing.

• Assistingteams with variousday to daylogisticstasks.

• Leading improvement in line with various excellence programs

• Manage vendor payments, purchaseordersand GRs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree Required. Degree in Engineering Science, Operations Management, or Supply Chain considered an asset

• 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;logisticsbackground an asset

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systemsand SAPis an asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Bilingual (French) an asset
