SALARY RANGE:$80,000 –$95,000 +

  • Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.

BONUS:Bonus at Target $20,000

  • Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results,pursuant tothe Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all third-party carrier operations for loads originating in Ontario. Tasks include load tendering, load follow-up to ensure loads are picked up/delivered,monitoringand managing performance.

  • Support with the daily management of the fleet operation in Ontario when needed. Ensure all T1 and T2 Ontario transport requirements are met.

  • Support Brewery Operations. Ensure transport requirements are met. Ensure returnable packaging and pallet requirements are met for all Intra-Ontario and Inter-Provincial shipments, and full goods shipments are picked up and delivered whererequired.

  • Continuously manage costs and look for opportunities tooperatemore efficiently across the entire transport network.

  • Possess a strong understanding of transport performance, transport KPIs (tender acceptance, rate compliance, award compliance, on-time delivery, capacity occupation, etc.) and its impact on financials.

  • Manage carrier relationships to ensure operation within the parameters outlined in the Labatt third party carrier contract, and ensure safe shipping practices while at Labatt sites

  • Support with union/management processes and relationships within the Labatt Mississauga Warehouse transport scopeThis includes playing an active leadership role with unionized transport team members, providing coaching,developmentand performance feedback.

  • Work cross-functionally with Procurement, National Logistics, and BSC teams to optimize the transportation network and share best practices.

  • Assistin preparation of Delivery Pillar requirements for annualaudits.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: university degree, business and industry-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience:demonstratedability to lead an operations facility with supervisory experience. Strong leadership skillsrequired.Logisticsand supply chain backgroundrequired.

  • Proven ability to manage transport operations in a high-volume and dynamic environment.

  • Proventrack recordof achievement, attention to detail, solid technicalskillsand a reputation as a leader of change.

  • Technical Competencies: Strong interpersonal capabilities, and able to work cross-functionally with other departments on strategic initiatives or process changes.Previousexperience with transport managementsystem(TMS), load boards,SAPor warehouse managementsystem(WMS)anasset.

  • Excellent computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
