In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate closely with operations, provide proactive support, and help customers navigate the complexities of international transportation with confidence.

How you create impact

• Develop a deep understanding of customers' businesses, supply chains, and strategic goals to provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear, open, and proactive communication.
• Partner closely with the Operational Care Centre (OCC) to ensure a smooth transition of customer requirements and expectations for flawless shipment execution.
• Ensure accurate and complete communication of customer-specific requirements to operational teams.
• Support customer onboarding and implementation activities, ensuring a positive and seamless customer experience from the start.
• Provide timely and efficient quotations and transportation solutions that align with customers' shipping needs.
• Monitor shipment milestones and provide customers with meaningful visibility and updates that support their business objectives.
• Establish and maintain clear rules of engagement and communication protocols with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Regularly assess customer satisfaction levels and identify opportunities to improve service quality and customer experience.
• Proactively address customer concerns by coordinating solutions, managing follow-up activities, and ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
• Serve as a trusted source of market, transportation, and logistics information that may impact customers' business planning and decision-making.
• Promote and support adoption of Kuehne+Nagel's digital tools and technology solutions to improve efficiency, visibility, and customer experience.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to implement meaningful enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive customer records and documentation to create a holistic view of customer needs and service history.
• Take a solution-oriented approach to every customer interaction, helping turn challenges into positive experiences and strengthening customer loyalty.

What we would like you to bring

• 3+ years of experience within the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry.
• College diploma or university degree in Business, Transportation Administration, International Commerce, or a related field preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset with a passion for building long-term client relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail abilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; knowledge of freight forwarding systems is an asset.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
