Evening Facility Custodian

JOB OVERVIEW

The Custodian reports to the Custodian Lead and is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the hangars & office areas.

The Custodian will be working on a Full time schedule, 40-hours a week with an ideal schedule of Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to 12:30am, with some room for adjustments. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning carpets
• Cleaning offices
• Cleaning lunchrooms
• Cleaning washrooms
• Recycling materials
• Garbage disposal

REQUIREMENTS 

• Able to work independently and on a team with other Custodians
• Must be a motivated self starter with strong initiative 
• Able to create a work plan
• Knowledge of equipment and cleaning materials
• Mandatory Controlled Goods certification required (completed in-house; requires background check)
• Physically fit (carry equipment up and down stairs; garbage & recycle to outside of building)
• Able to work shifts

SALARY

The wage band is KF level 3, $20.06 - $25.07. The expertise and technical skill level of the candidate is assessed during the selection process for placement within the band.
