We have developed a ground-breaking medical device for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common heart rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation – which can cause stroke, heart failure, and other heart-relatedcomplications.

Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!

As a member of the QA Operations team, you’ll gain exposure to regulatory compliance, manufacturing processes, and quality documentation—learning how these come together within a real-world Quality Management System while contributing to products that meet Kardium’s standards and industry regulations.

Please note, this opportunity is an onsite, in-office role, located in Burnaby, BC.

What You Will Experience

You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to enhance QMS capabilities and promote a culture of quality into daily operations
  • Coordinating information gathering and the preparation of quality documentation
  • Assist in monitoring, tracking and analyzing metrics related to productivity, timeliness, and quality
  • Support various quality and operations tasks as needed

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, with ability to manage, analyze, and troubleshoot large, complex data-dense spreadsheets
  • Enthusiasm toward finding solutions to unforeseen challenges
  • A history of success working in a team setting
  • Enrollment in post-secondary program related to Science, Computer Science or Engineering

Compensation

Compensation for this role is based on multiple factors including your current year of study, the number of previous co-op terms completed, as well as market data.

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Relocation Support

  • Relocation Allowance:We offer a relocation allowance to support out-of-province students moving to Burnaby BC for their Co-op/Intern term
  • Community Before Day One:Out-of-province students make up about 30% of each cohort. We connect all incoming students through email before the term starts to help with planning the move
