A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day human resources activities, including employee onboarding, personnel file administration, disciplinary actions, and workforce changes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable legislation and regulations, including Québec’s Law 25 respecting the protection of personal information.
- Support managers in the application of HR policies, performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations matters.
- Provide first-level guidance and support to managers to promote effective people management practices.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, respectful, and engaging work environment.
- Assist with the management of workplace injury, disability, and workers’ compensation claims.
- Support the handling of grievances, internal investigations, and other labour and employee relations matters.
- Conduct research, analyze HR data and key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
- Assist in the preparation of activity reports and HR metrics and statistics.
- Provide support to various HR functions and departmental projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and good working proficiency in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
- Strong teamwork skills, sound judgment, autonomy, and accountability.
