OVERVIEW: 

The Warehouse Receiving Attendant is responsible for receiving, inspecting, verifying, and storing all incoming goods and supplies for casino operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control, maintains organized warehouse storage areas, and supports the timely distribution of products to various departments, including food and beverage, housekeeping, facilities, and gaming operations. The incumbent works closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure deliveries meet quality, quantity, and safety standards while adhering to company policies, inventory procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Receiving Attendant contributes to the efficient operation of the casino by maintaining accurate records, ensuring stock availability, and promoting a safe and secure working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for delivering the direct receiving orders/packages in a timely manner. Following Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures. 

  • Responsible for stocking all inbound storeroom orders dating the product and rotating in a timely manner. Following Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures. 

  • Responsible for pulling all storeroom requisitions, getting them checked by Warehouse Leadership, and updated before delivery in a timely manner. Following Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures. 

  • Responsible for helping check all inbound mail (Amazon, DHL, FedEx, and UPS) into the system, tagging packages with the departments that order them. Entering packages into the mail system for delivery and delivering them to the departments before the end of the day.

  • Responsible for learning and maintaining all Warehouse locations. All new items should be assigned with a location and communicated to Warehouse leadership, or the Inventory control clerks as needed (The same goes for any items that are moved). 

  • Assists in all daily operations of warehouse and receiving activities. 

  • Maintains an upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy, and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.

  • Responsible for being familiar with and adhering to the Hard Rock Warehouse Policy and Procedure Manual. 

  • Operates and maintains consistent mail delivery, organization, and tidiness of the warehouse.

  • Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of all warehouse areas as per internal and Health Department standards. 

  • Inspects the warehouse daily to ensure cleaning roster duties are carried out.

  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company procedures.

  • Operates powered industrial equipment pallet jack. 

  • Checks equipment maintenance logs and ensures roster duties checklists are being performed.

  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. 

  • Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing receiving duties.

  • Must possess the ability to operate both manual and electric pallet jack, weigh scale, and pull/push carts and dollies filled with items weighing over 100 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 

  • Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment (telephone, photocopier, fax machine).

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms. 

  • Excellent organizational skills to function under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail. 

  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 

  • Able to stand, sit, and or walk for extended periods on concrete floors. 

  • Considerable physical activities, may require handling of objects that weigh 50lbs plus, pushing/pulling manual pallet jacks, Carts, and dollies with objects that weigh 50lbs plus. 

  • Able to effectively communicate with property team members and guests while demonstrating a positive attitude.

  • Must be able to work in all environments (cold, hot weather, indoor and outdoors).

  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. 

  • Must be at least nineteen (19) years of age. 

  • Must obtain/maintain a Gaming/Lottery license. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more. 

  • Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 

  • The work environmental characteristics described here may be representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. 

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times when you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, exces sive noise. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
