Position Summary

As a key representative of GFL Edmonton, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external clients. In this role, you will deliver vital operational support, liaise across departments, and consistently drive an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional professional who brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every task.

The position is based out of our Edmonton office (4208-84 Ave NW), Monday through Friday. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist all visiting clients, vendors, and guests, maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area.

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries, assessing customer needs, and building positive rapport.

  • Consistently uphold a high standard of customer service to ensure client satisfaction in every interaction.

  • Perform daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, copying, and routine record management.

  • Verify received paperwork against system data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor office supply inventory, track usage, and place reorders as needed to maintain seamless office operations.

  • Assist with general office duties and special administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1–2 years of administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced computer literacy with strong proficiency in Google Workspace applications; exceptional and accurate data entry skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage tasks independently or collaborate effectively within a team.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a dedicated, dependable work ethic.
