What You'll Be Doing 

  • Complete and verify HACCP paperwork and quality checks (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly)

  • Ensure HACCP forms are accurate and complete

  • Complete daily sanitation, facility, and quality check records

  • Identify and hold damaged or non-conforming product with the manager

  • Collaborate with team leads to address production or quality issues

  • Maintain weekly equipment calibration logs

  • Monitor cooler temperatures regularly

  • Conduct routine swabs and collect samples for third-party lab testing

  • Inspect work-in-progress and finished product daily

  • Oversee lot tracking and cooler/freezer organization

  • Support and maintain HACCP-based food safety plans

  • Train team members on Food Safety and HACCP procedures

  • Ensure sanitation standards are met and cleanup procedures are followed

  • Report quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager

  • Follow up on incomplete or inaccurate HACCP paperwork

  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve production practices

  • Support other facility areas to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are upheld

  • Other duties as required


What We Are Looking For 

  • College degree (High school diploma or equivalent will still be considered)

  • Prior HACCP Training

  • Some knowledge of produce or food quality to help assess and ensure high standards

  • Previous quality control or quality assurance experience is a plus and will help you thrive in this role

  • Comfortable with physically active work—you’ll need to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and be on your feet for extended periods, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, and walking throughout your shift


What You Can Expect 

  • Annual salary of $49,000

  • A schedule of Tuesday - Saturday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

  • Working in an environment where temperatures range from under 4 degrees Celsius to ambient room temperature
