Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Superintendent with industrial experience managing construction, maintenance, and turnaround projects for a position in Conklin, Alberta. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 days in & 7 days out schedule, 12-hour workdays, camp accommodations, travel pay, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

What would you be doing? 

  • Provide supervision to multiple crews and services. 
  • Prepare, monitor, and drive project schedule with the operations team to ensure budget and timelines are met. 
  • Estimate and manage project labour and material requirements. 
  • Establish, implement, and oversee site safety plans and quality control measures,
  • Manage resources to maintain and enhance critical equipment performance. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in industrial maintenance.
  • Valid Journeyperson certificate. 
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: 
    • CSTS-2020 
    • H2S Alive 
    • Standard First Aid 
    • WHMIS 
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. 
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site. 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits. 

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
