As a Senior Data Scientist,you’lllead complex analytics initiatives,determinetechnical approaches and tools, and develop models that help explain past performance and project future scenarios. Your strong analytical capabilities and data storytelling skills will enable you to translate complex findings into clear insights for leaders and stakeholders while advancing data-driven solutions to business challenges.

Whatyou’lldo
Lead complex insights projects toidentifypatterns and trends in data and model future scenarios
Determinetechnical direction for data solutions, including methodologies,toolsand analytical approaches
Evaluate diverse data sources and develop insights that support business decisions and risk mitigation
Build,validate,monitorand enhance predictive models and analytics solutions using advanced analytics techniques
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable way
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analytics professionals while promoting quality and consistency
Whatyou’llbring to the team
Required qualifications:
A master’s degree in a related domain or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum six years of experience in data science, analytics, economics, finance,corporate and commercial credit rating, risk management, credit risk modelling, credit portfoliomanagementor information technology
Extensive knowledge of one or more relevant domains and advanced analytics methodologies
Provenexpertisein predictive and descriptive analytics techniques and statistical modelling
Demonstratedproficiencywith SAS, MS Power BI, AWS tools, R and Python
Strong mathematical or statistical background
Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-expert stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of the agricultural industry and FCC business policies and processes
Experience working with structured and unstructured data is an asset
Experience with machine learning, artificialintelligenceor advanced modelling techniques
