Howyou'llmake an impact

Leverage yourexpertisein project finance, financial modelling, creditanalysisand due diligence to support the origination, underwriting,executionand management of complex project finance transactions focused primarily on Canadian agri-food processing,manufacturingand production assets.

As a Project Finance, Senior Analyst,you'llwork closely with internal teams and external advisors to assess project finance opportunities that support FCC’s strategic priorities in Canadian agriculture and food.You'llprovide analytical leadership throughout the transaction lifecycle, frominitialevaluationtoportfolio management. Your strong financial modelling and project finance analysis capabilities will enable you to prepare underwriting analyses, support transaction structuring and execution, andmonitorongoing portfolio performance.

Whatyou'lldo

  • Develop andmaintaindetailed project finance cash flow models and scenario analyses

  • Conduct financial, commercial, technical and sponsor due diligence

  • Assess project risks and recommend mitigants

  • Prepare underwriting analyses, creditapplicationsand approval materials

  • Support structuring,pricingand execution of project finance transactions

  • Coordinate external advisors and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor portfolio performance, covenantcomplianceand early warning indicators

  • Research sectors,marketsand industry trends relevant to project finance opportunities

Whatyou'llbring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • Abachelor’sdegreein business administration,financeor a related field

  • Minimumsevenyears of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, commercial banking, private credit, corporatefinanceor investment banking(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Extensive knowledge of project finance, credit analysis, duediligenceand capital structure analysis

  • Provenexpertisein financial modelling and underwriting analysis

  • Demonstratedproficiencyin written communication and portfolio management

  • Strong capability to assess project risks and support transaction decision-making

  • Strong bilingual (English and French) communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • AnMBA, CFAdesignationor similar professional designation
