The Analyst II is responsible for performing routine testing in the chemistry lab using multiple techniques such as HPLC, UV-VIS, FTIR, Wet chemistry, ICP-OES, GC-MS.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in a contract laboratory environment and able to handle a wide range of chemistry-related tests and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The candidate must be able to ensure that the activities are in compliance with current GMP/GLP, quality system regulations, safety, and corporate policy standards.
The candidate must have the ability to train other chemists on performing chemistry testing. The candidate must also ensure the team's activities follow current GMP/GLP, quality system regulations, safety, and corporate policy standards. The candidate must also be able to provide technical expertise within and external to the organization and assist in development of new services.
The incumbent must be energetic, exceedingly well-organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges that a contract laboratory environment brings. The incumbent must have the ability to interact with staff and customers in a fast-paced environment, consistently under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

This position will be working in office and lab environments. Moderate level of activity and some light lifting requirements to fulfill any required duties. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required.
