Role Description

We’relooking for an experiencedCompensationBusiness Partnerto join our Compensation Team. We collaborate withHR partners andbusiness leaders to design and implementcompelling compensation programs.We advise on complex compensation matters with in-depth analytics and strategic alignment to business goals.In this role, you willbe client-facingand serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership to support their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Dropbox’s compensation philosophy, design and programs for your client teams.
  • Build a consultative and collaborative relationship withHR business partners,business leaders, and executive leadershiponcompensation programs evolution and compensation initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on compensation decisions. Support decisions with sound judgement and data-backed recommendations.
  • Proactively researchcompensation bestpractices and trends. Perform analysis on effectiveness, competitivenessand fairness of existing programs. Present findings andthoughtfulalternative solutions that arealigned withDropbox’s philosophy.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide compensation programs and processes, including job architecture, market benchmarking, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices.
  • Design and implement programs with an understanding of fulfilling business need and impact on global employee base. 
  • Build and delivercompensation-relatedtraining and educationmaterialsto your client teams.
  • Work with theRecruiting team to deliver a delightful new hire processbyapplying Dropbox compensation policies in fair and equitable ways. Thisincludesnew hire offer packageconsultation to ensurealignment to market and internal peers.

Requirements

  • BA/BS inrelated field
  • 7+ years of experiencein-house or advising, preferably for the technology industry or compensation consulting firm
  • Experience with job evaluation, market matching, job pricing, compensation review cycles, and global compensation practices
  • Demonstrated adaptability and experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid eye for business and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with multiple partners, including executives, line management,andpeers.
  • Experience in a client-facing roleworking and supportingCorporate Groupsor EPDteams
  • Strong change managementand project managementskills
  • Strong written, presentation, andverbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear outputs and recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • AdvancedExcel skills(interviewprocess may include an Excel test). We’ll love it if you know Tableau, SQL, or have used AI for compensation analytics though not a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, to communicate compensation insights and trends to business and HR stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Databricks, or similar tools to analyze large or complex compensation datasets.
  • Experience using AI tools for compensation analytics and reporting.
