Description
Job Objectives
Ensure product availability while optimising inventory, production capacity, and working capital.
Develop accurate demand forecasts, translate demand into feasible supply plans, monitor inventory and material availability, and proactively identify and resolve supply risks.
Lead the end-to-end planning cycle across multiple product variants and pack sizes, balancing sales requirements, production capability, material availability, and inventory targets to support reliable service, efficient operations, and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical trends, sales projections, market insights, and business plans.
Translate demand forecasts into effective supply and production plans to ensure optimal product availability.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to align demand and supply requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, stock-outs, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory to optimize working capital.
Track forecast accuracy, forecast bias, production plan attainment, and other key supply chain performance indicators.
Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and highlight demand/supply gaps, constraints, and risks.
Identify potential material, capacity, and supply constraints and develop appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.
Support new product launches and product phase-outs through effective demand, supply, and inventory planning.
Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data in SAP/ERP systems.
Prepare demand and supply dashboards, reports, and actionable insights to support business decision-making.
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Professional certification such as APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent is an advantage.
Advanced Excel and working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems are strongly preferred
Experience
Minimum of 4–6 years' relevant experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Planning, or Supply Chain.
Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in forecasting, inventory management, S&OP, and production planning.
