The Team
TheTechnology& Data Internship Programwas developed for undergraduate students who are highly analytical, interested in business issues and curious about career opportunities in technology and datawithin the finance industry.The program provides you access to a virtual classroom and on the job training where you will learnhow toleverageyour problem solving and technical skills to help make critical business decisions.You will be assigned both a manager and amentor to help support your learnings from the classroom to apply in the workplace setting.
The program begins with a week-long Intern Orientation session for you to engage with fellow interns and learn about the programs available to you. You will advance your knowledge andexpertisethrough skills-based training and on-the-job assignments. You willparticipateinadditionalprogramming such as our Speaker Series where each session focuses on a different aspect of our culture including employee resource groups,inclusion,and diversity and much more. You will join us as aJunior EngineerInternfor theFall2026and/or Winter 2027in the Technology & Data Department for a 4-month,8-monthor12-monthinternship based on your availability.Upon completion of your term, you will be considered fora fulltime role.
Accountabilities:
Designing, coding, testing, delivering, and supporting systems, applications, or solutions to meet the evolving needs of business teamsfollowing an Agile delivery approach.
You’ll alsohave the opportunity tolearn and apply Java, Python, Angular,AWSand low code code/no code solutions.
You can consider the followingroles:
Software Engineering:business aligned engineering teams that build systems and applications for front and back-office teams.
Data Engineering:are known as the institutional subject matter experts. The team is the center of data, technology, and business,assistingteams across the fund with data stacks, proof of concepts,logic, and analytics work bench.
Cloud Engineering:enablesfoundational cloud& AIservices and shared capabilities for software engineering and business teams,drivingcloud maturity and compliance.
Quality Engineering:areinvolved in thedesign and development of test automationin support of continuouslymonitoringapplication qualityand toensure rapid andreliable software delivery.
Qualification
Candidates in an undergraduate program who are returning to schoolafter their work term,are eligible to apply.
Candidates with a strongtrack recordof academic success while balancing extracurricular activities.
You must have a strong interest in learningnew technologiesand finance, as well aspossessinggood communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
In addition,you willcombine energy, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity, with a demonstrated interest in investing.
You are motivated to contribute to something larger than yourself, approach complex challenges with rigor, and hold yourself to high standards in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
