Position Overview:

The Software Developeris responsible forthe development of the next generation cardiovascular post-processing software
and the maintenance of our existing revenue-driving products. The Software Developer will design and develop various components of the software including application graphical user interface/workflows, back-end server functionalities, and other post-processing algorithms. Throughoutthe software development cycle, this role will work closely with other softwaredevelopers, architects,and quality assurance analysts as a team to ensure delivery of quality software products.

TheSoftware Developerwill report totheSoftware DevelopmentManager.

General Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve medical imaging software on a cloud platform
  • Writing reusable, readable, testable, scalable, and efficient code
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5years of work experience in software development and/or considerable project experience
  • Experience in Go,webprotocols and web server optimization techniques
  • Experience withmigrating desktop applications to cloud
  • Experience with public cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • ExperienceincontainerizationwithDocker
    andKubernetes
  • Experience workingona SaaSapplication
  • Familiaritywith
    object-oriented
    programming languagessuch asC++, C#, orJava
  • Experience with
    graphicsrenderingon cloud applications considered an asset
  • Experience with DICOM protocol and images considered an asset


Educational Requirements:

  • Minimumtechnical diploma in computing science or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
