Calypso Plant Equipment Mechanic 2026

WORK SETTING

• Machinery
• Maintenance
• Repair/overhaul/setup

• Assemble & install mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair or replace machinery parts.
• Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with safety requirements
• Respond to work orders for repairs/preventative maintenance daily as assigned
• Inspect and maintain rides and attractions to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components (pumps & motors)
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations
• Perform repairs on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure as needed

• This position is outdoors the majority of time
• This position requires frequent work in heat and sun.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and have knowledge of protective equipment. (Employer will train and certify)
• This position requires occasional work in or around water, water treatment chemicals, fumes/odors.

• Able to stand/or walk for long periods of time throughout the day. 
• Fit and able to climb stairs on our 9 story towers.
• Able to work outdoors in the park at various locations.
• Requires manual and bi-manual dexterity, fine and gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing and speech. 
• Requires occasional kneeling and bending. 
• Requires occasional walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling. 
• Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
