We are seeking a proactive & detail-oriented Junior Procurement Agent, responsible for supporting procurement activities from requisition through to successful delivery, while driving cost efficiencies, service improvements, and compliance with technical, commercial, quality, and safety requirements. The Junior Procurement Agent will also coordinate the timely delivery, receiving, and shipment of building components to support project and job site requirements, while maintaining accurate procurement records and preparing KPI and expenditure reports.
Working closely with Procurement and Contract & Servicing leadership, this role will contribute to company initiatives, supplier strategies, and the resolution of non-conformances or disputes.

You will Bring
- College diploma with a concentration in Logistics, Operations or Supply Chain Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project etc.)

- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict and tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Work proactively to meet strategic goals for cost reductions and service improvements
- Review and understand technical, quality, safety, schedule and commercial requirements (cost, warranty, contractual and legal terms) of each applicable procurement activity (Purchase Requisition)
- Support in the preparation and issuance of RFQ's to suitable suppliers, review and assess quotes, negotiate best value and terms with suppliers, and generate documentation to justify supplier selection
- Create, release and receive Purchase Orders to suppliers in accordance with Company procedures and job requirements
- Assist in managing the supplier until the successful completion of Purchase Order deliverables
- Assist in identifying any areas of non-conformance, inadequacy, or disputes
- Support the identification and development of new suppliers, and development of existing suppliers
- Perform risk analysis and when necessary, support development of mitigation plans
- Keep updated records, and generate polished reports for significant expenditures and assignments, including weekly and monthly KPI’s
- Coordinate the scheduling and timely delivery of building components, such as windows, roof trusses, and screens
- Support in Receiving Operations by processing incoming deliveries and coordinating outgoing shipments to job sites
- Support the Team Lead, Procurement and Team Lead, Contract & Serving with company initiatives, and supplier related strategies
Working Conditions
- PPE (hard hat, hi-vis & steel toes boots) is required at all times in field settings
- This is a full-time, in-person position
