As a Project Manager for Business Strategy & Transformation, you will lead multidisciplinary teams of analysts, consultants, and support staff in the day-to-day management of consulting engagements. You’ll oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful execution, client satisfaction, and delivery of high-impact solutions on time and within budget. What You’ll Do
Business Development
Cultivate and grow client relationships through marketing efforts, project interactions, and strategic engagement.
Identify new sales opportunities with clients and lead aspects of proposal development and submission, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Advance new and existing client relationships and interface with clients for proposal and project-related items.
Lead proposal development, project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
Set critical project objectives with clients and lead contract development and negotiations.
Project Execution
Manage the full lifecycle of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget.
Ensure quality control of deliverables and analyze/communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to stakeholders.
Lead multi-discipline teams of engineers, consultants, and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to department management.
Develop and implement project execution plans based on scope and client needs.
Lead project safety, quality, progress, and financial audits and assessments as required.
Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor and train less experienced staff on technical and business aspects of projects and the industry; serve as a recognized industry leader in your subject matter.
Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff.
Support company initiatives and foster staff development and training.
Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
Technical Responsibilities
Perform and lead advanced consulting engagements to help guide clients in strategic process improvements, technology advancements, and other strategic initiatives.
Lead analysis, approval, and implementation of multiple project deliverables.
Lead training of project teams, coordinate activities of multiple global practices/disciplines, and facilitate efficient, cost-effective utilization of staff.
Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience in client engagement, consulting, or management within management consulting, strategy, or transformation-focused environments.
Proven success in cultivating client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Five or more years of consulting experience in the U.S. electric and gas utilities sectors.
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary consulting engagements and teams.
Strong understanding of business strategy, operational improvement, organizational transformation, or change management concepts.
Proven ability to lead complex client conversations, identify business needs, and translate them into actionable consulting solutions.
Experience supporting proposal development, scoping, pricing, and pursuit strategy for consulting engagements.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including strategy, technology, engineering, and operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science or related field from an accredited program and and 10 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge in project management, techniques, and procedures.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Experience leading technical aspects of consulting engagements in regards to heavy industrial sectors such as power generation and delivery and oil, gas, and chemical.
Experience on consulting projects, client operations, or executing program management within the critical infrastructure industry.
Understanding of general business and financial principles.
Experience with communicating across business segments to understand project objectives.
