Electrical Building Engineer

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design, analysis, and verificationof electrical systems for building projects
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and clientsto develop tailored, practical solutions
• Conduct site surveysand assess existing installations to develop optimized system upgrades
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specificationswith accuracy and professionalism
• Support construction supervision and field coordinationto ensure design intent is achieved
• Participate in budget estimation and cost analysisfor electrical scopes

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
• 4–10+ years of relevant experience in building electrical systems
• Fluent in French and functional to advanced level in English*
• Versatility, autonomy, good communication skills

* English is essential due to participation in commercial projects outside Quebec and in national projects where all meetings and documentation are exclusively in English.
