Internship in Engineering - Aircraft Integrator (4 months)

Our team… 

The Challenger aircraft integration engineering team leads all engineering activities in collaboration with project engineering and various technical engineering specialists. This team is responsible for leading the Challenger engineering organization from the start of the development phase up to entry into service of any change or product development as well as and in-service support.

What are your contributions to the team?

During your internship, you will provide support to the Challengers Chief Aircraft Integrator on different projects.

You will be contributing to aircraft level activities such as:

• Specific ad-hoc or planned studies
• Investigations on emerging topics
• Product improvements and/or risk mitigation items
• Work on systems and structural integration activities

During your internship, you will learn:

• Aircraft product development, project planning, conducting meetings and prioritizing
• Written and spoken communications skills in a professional environment (including presentations)
• eRoom, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

How to thrive in this role?

• You are studying for a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering;
• You have experience in the manufacturing industry (an asset)
• You have good interpersonal and leadership skills;
• You have a high level of knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• You can take on responsibilities through which priorities could evolve and / or change quickly;
• You are able to express your ideas clearly and accurately, orally and in writing;
• You establish and maintain good working relationships with your colleagues;
• You demonstrate creativity for developing methodologies allowing you to produce a high level of quality in your deliverables.

All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
