Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Preparation, Submission & Quality Control
• Prepare, review, and submit electronic invoices across client platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Outside Counsel Guidelines, budgets and Purchase Orders to ensure timely payment and optimize the revenue cycle.
Invoice Monitoring, Issue Resolution & Accounts Receivable Support
• Monitor invoices throughout the eBilling lifecycle, troubleshoot and reconcile rejections, manage appeals with lawyers and practice teams, and follow up on stalled invoices to ensure timely payment and Accounts Receivable management in collaboration with the Client Services Team.
eBilling Setup & Compliance
• Establish and maintain eBilling operational standards by setting up new eBilling clients and matters, ensuring adherence to client-specific guidelines, rate structures, and billing requirements in collaboration with CMS Service and Legal Ops Team.
Rate Management & Submissions
• Coordinate the determination, upload, and submission of timekeeper rates, including annual rate increases by collaborating with Lawyers, Pricing, Legal Ops, CMS Service, and client-side accounts payable teams, while monitoring deadlines and resolving outstanding rate-related issues.
Collaboration, Escalation & Continuous Improvement
• Partner with internal Matter Life Cycle teams, Practice Assistants, Legal Ops, Pricing, Billing, and Client Services to resolve eBilling challenges; escalate recurring or complex issues to the eBilling Team Lead and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, knowledge, and processes.
