About the Role

As Supervisor, Customer Service & Administration, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of customer service, billing, and administrative operations for Naka Power Utilities (NWT).

You'll guide and support a customer-focused team, oversee key business processes, and help ensure customers receive responsive service and accurate billing. 

What You'll Do

• Lead and support customer service and administrative operations.
• Ensure customers receive responsive, professional service.
• Oversee billing activities, customer accounts, and revenue collection processes.
• Support business planning and regulatory filing requirements.
• Monitor billing system transactions and administrative controls.
• Develop and improve policies, procedures, and business processes.
• Recruit, coach, and develop team members.
• Manage employee performance, workforce planning, and training initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers, Indigenous organizations, local governments, and community partners.
• Support community relations activities and represent Naka in local initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team culture.

What You Bring

• University degree, technical or college diploma in Business Administration
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in administration and customer service with previous experience in a supervisory role
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered
• Excellent organizational, administration, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making ability
• Knowledge and experience with accounting practices, principles and budgetary processes
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team environment
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service
