ATCO Pipelines is seeking Engineers and Engineers-in-Training (EITs) to join our Natural Gas Planning team. These positions support the planning, operation, and optimization of ATCO’s natural gas systems, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of natural gas to communities, industrial customers, and interconnected pipeline systems across the province.
As part of Alberta's largest integrated natural gas utility, you will contribute to the planning and development of infrastructure that serves over 1.3 million customers and supports many of the province's largest urban and industrial centers. Working closely with engineering, operations, project delivery, commercial, regulatory, and system control teams, you will help evaluate system performance, support capital investment decisions, and develop practical solutions to address evolving customer and system requirements.
These roles offer exposure to a broad range of technical and operational challenges, including hydraulic modelling, facility planning, outage coordination, emergency response, system optimization, and integrity-driven projects.
