If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who likes small town living, this position in Two Hills might be for you! As the successful candidate for this position, you will cover the Long-Term Care department in the Two Hills Health Centre and model Patient and Family Centered Care. Situated 135 km east of Edmonton, Two Hills is a rural center serving an agricultural region. The town has a population of 1,379 while the county has approximately 4,500 people. Residents have easy access to the downtown and commercial areas, as well as several parks and playgrounds. As members of the nursing team, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are responsible and accountable for the safe quality care of clients. LPNs assess, coordinate and participate in total nursing care for patients and supervise in accordance with nursing practice standards, as well as provide leadership, direction and encouragement to staff.
